Content note: Yandere Simulator includes mature themes and violence. It is intended for adult audiences. This amai odayaka guide covers schedules, social systems, and high-level elimination routes—not graphic step-by-step kill tutorials.
Week 2 introduces Amai Odayaka, Cooking Club president and rival two in 202X Story Mode. She looks gentle; her week is a logistics exam. Senpai events tie to food, club duties, and reputation-sensitive sabotage. On recent 2026 builds, DevBlog notes still polish Amai’s voice lines and event timing—the June 2026 “Larger-Than-Medium Amai” update is the headline example—so if a cutscene differs from a month-old video, trust your installed build and the latest DevBlog mirror on this site.
Read lore and club context on the Amai Odayaka character page. For systems you should already know from Week 1, keep the beginner guide nearby. For how elimination types fit together, see elimination methods — peaceful vs lethal.
What Week 2 asks of you
Amai’s arc assumes you understand:
- School schedule blocks (class, lunch, club, after school)
- Reputation swings from public incidents
- Info-chan Schemes unlocking mid-week
- Witness lines in crowded club spaces
Your win condition is unchanged: remove Amai as a romantic threat before the week ends without expulsion or arrest. Cooking Club members multiply eyewitness risk—treating the kitchen like an empty hallway is how saves die.
August 2026 DevBlog notes mention the Schemes menu still expanding for Amai on some builds. If a scheme icon is grayed out, finish prerequisite tasks Info-chan lists rather than assuming you broke the save.
Read her schedule before schemes
Before you spend Info Points, shadow Amai for a day:
- Note where she cooks, when she meets Senpai, and which students linger as clubmates.
- Watch Cooking Club patrol patterns—they move between prep rooms and event venues.
- Mark camera blind spots only after you confirm them on your build; do not rely on a three-year-old screenshot map.
Senpai’s Amai-week events run Monday through Friday with a food theme each day. Rejection—the non-lethal sabotage path—lines up with those beats. Planning on Sunday in-game means less sprinting with a box in hand on Thursday.
Check FAQ entries on Reputation and Sanity if Week 1 left you brittle. Low Sanity makes Yandere Vision sloppy; low Reputation closes favors you need for club alibis.
Non-lethal: Rejection path overview
Rejection here means sabotaging Senpai’s dates with Amai so his affection crashes without you holding a weapon on screen. The game structures five event beats across the week (high level only):
Day Event theme (overview) Monday Bake-sale sabotage—poisoned perception, not a cooking tutorial Tuesday Apron swap confusion during prep Wednesday Recipe swap undermining her dish Thursday Picnic insect incident embarrassing the date Friday Cake / social fallout caps the rejection arc You still need the right items, timing, and alibis. Fail one day and you compress the rest into a panic spiral—exactly when Cooking Club witnesses pile up.
This guide stays AdSense-safe: think “what role does Monday play?” not “click-by-click contamination.” Use in-game Scheme text and Info-chan prompts on your build; re-read DevBlog patch notes if an event name moved.
Other social paths (befriend/matchmake high-level)
Amai supports kinder routes if you prefer not to poison the week’s mood:
- Befriend / Betray: Ryoba’s tea choice DNA shows up in Amai’s friendship arc—you can invest in kindness, then choose betrayal later if the story gate opens on your build. Tea scenes are character beats; they cost time you could spend on Schemes.
- Matchmaking: Redirect affection toward a suitor if your build’s matchmaking systems are unlocked for Week 2. The elimination methods overview explains how matchmaking differs from Rejection without spoiling every dialog flag.
Matchmaking and befriending still touch Reputation. A public fight in the cafeteria hurts you the same whether the rival is Osana or Amai.
If you choose lethal (risks only)
Lethal eliminations remain possible in Yandere Simulator, but Amai’s week punishes sloppiness:
- Cooking Club witnesses near knives, stoves, and serving lines
- Blood evidence in rooms with high traffic
- Sanity costs if you linger on scenes you should leave
- Police / faculty response if bodies are discovered before you dispose evidence
We do not publish gore walkthroughs. Treat lethal as a last resort for players who already understand disposal routes from prior weeks—and accept that one mistake during Cooking Club hours ends the run.
If you are learning systems, stay on Rejection or matchmaking until Reputation and disposal are boring to you.
Reputation & Cooking Club witnesses
Cooking Club students are not decorative. They:
- Carry items that become evidence if planted incorrectly
- Report strange behavior near Senpai event venues
- Cluster during lunch and event cutscenes
Raise Reputation with visible good deeds early in the week if Monday’s sabotage rattled the school. Club favors can buy distraction, but only if you joined or befriended on schedule—see DevBlog notes about club join timing exploits fixed in 2026 patches; do not assume old speedrun tricks still work.
Yandere Vision helps you read suspicion, but staring burns Sanity. Use short glances, not marathon creep mode outside the club window.
After Amai
Clear Week 2, save, and debrief:
- Which Schemes unlocked late because you skipped Info-chan tasks?
- Did Reputation recover before Friday?
- Do you want Week 3 lethal practice or a peaceful streak?
