February 15th Bug-Fixing Build

Hello! Recently, I’ve mostly been working on implementing the next rival – Amai. But, I’ve also been fixing any bugs that players have been reporting to me. A lot of bug fixes have piled up, so I’m releasing a new build today!

A progress report on Amai – and some brief footage of her Befriend/Betray stealth mission – is available to my supporters on Patreon!

Improvements

  • In Custom Mode, when editing a student’s hairstyle, it is now possible to click the hairstyle field and type in the number of the hairstyle you want instead of tapping “Next” dozens of times until you’ve found it.
  • In Custom Mode, when editing a rival’s canon elimination method, there is now a button for navigating backwards through the elimination method list, instead of only being able to navigate forward through the list.
  • It is now possible to kidnap female student council members in Custom Mode.
  • It is now possible for female students to have lip piercings.

Fixes

  • In Custom Mode, if the player designed a character with the Violent Persona and defined them as being “Armed,” the character would fail to react to murder properly, since only delinquents are assigned weapons in the game’s code. The ideal solution would be to make it possible for any student to walk around with a weapon on their back like the delinquents, but it would take an extraordinary amount of time to implement this, so, instead, any student customized to be Violent/Armed will simply switch to the Heroic Persona upon witnessing murder.
  • In Custom Mode, instructing a student to perform the “Graffiti” or “Bully” actions will not work, since those actions only apply to the 5 female delinquents. Previously, if the player attempted to assign those actions/destinations to an invalid student, that student would spin in circles forever. From now on, those actions/destinations will not cause invalid students to spin in circles forever, but will instead cause them to go perform a generic action (going to their default hangout spot or patrolling around school).
  • If the protagonist asked a student to follow her, and then lured Raibaru into the kidnapping room and tried to sedate her, the game would recognize the player’s “follower” as a valid target but would not recognize the student being attacked as a valid target, so Raibaru would enter the “fighting back against attack” state while the game put the player into the “tranquilizing” state. This bug has been fixed.
  • When a mind-broken slave stabs their own neck and blood sprays out, this blood can come into contact with the player and give them a blood-splattered appearance. However, under a very specific circumstance (the mind-broken slave had been sent to kill Raibaru) this blood spray would lose the ability to come into contact with the player. This bug has been fixed.
  • The criteria for the player to attack Raibaru is raising their Physical Education stat to at least Level 1. However, if the player raised their PE stat using the Gaming Club, specifically, it wouldn’t count. This bug has been fixed.
  • In Custom Mode, if the player attempted to give a lot of students the “sleep in infirmary” routine – more students than beds exist in the infirmary – the game would encounter errors. This bug has been fixed.
  • While Raibaru was performing her “reacting with shock to incoming attack” animation, it was possible for the player to be spotted by a teacher and sent to the guidance counselor. This bug has been fixed.
  • In Custom Mode, if the player turned one of the suitors into a female, she would not properly update her appearance when the player tried to instruct her to change her looks. this bug has been fixed.
  • If the player matchmade two boys, two girls, or a female suitor with a male rival, they would not play their “cuddle on a bench” animations correctly on the subsequent week. This bug has been fixed.
  • In Custom Mode, if the player designed a character with a non-default hair color and then turned them into a mind-broken slave, their face texture would be all messed up. This bug has been fixed.
  • Customizing a character’s “Strength” to be “Invincible” was meant to give them the same “arm-breaking takedown” animation as Raibaru, but that feature wasn’t working. This bug has been fixed.
  • If the player brought a mind-broken slave to school while “low poly students” were active, the mind-broken slave would wear a uniform + rags simultaneously. This bug has been fixed.
  • If the player created a female Senpai for Custom Mode and then killed someone in front of their Senpai, the game would freeze and never advance. This bug has been fixed.
  • During the Amai Challenge, students would attempt to put garbage bags into the incinerator, even though it’s out-of-order on that week. This bug has been fixed.
  • Customizing a character’s “Strength” to be “Carries Pepper Spray” would not actually give them pepper spray. This bug has been fixed.
  • In Custom Mode, if the player advanced forward to Week 4, the “Matchmaking” window would stop functioning. This bug has been fixed.
  • Under some circumstances, certain characters would have solid pink faces and/or skin. This bug should no longer occur.
  • Due to a bug, it was possible to activate the “Video Camera Tripod” in Ayano’s basement. This bug has been fixed.
