A big update came out recently! You can read about everything that got added to the game by clicking here. However, there were a few significant bugs in that build, so I’m uploading a new build where those issues are resolved.

Fixed Textures
The following models had screwed-up textures, and have been fixed:
- The folding chairs inside of the Drama Club and backstage are of the gym
- The power cords for the kitchen appliances in the Cooking Club
- The table in the “podcast booth” of the Announcement Room
- The rug inside of the Photography Club’s secret room
- The microwave in the Home Ec Room
- The table for Amai’s bake sale
Improvements
- The stove in the Home Ec room now uses a different texture than the stove in the Cooking Club so that it matches the color scheme of the rest of the Home Ec room.
- The lighting in Amai’s suicide cutscene was too dark, so I’ve increased the brightness to be comparable with Osana’s suicide cutscene.
- The white-and-gold folding chair’s texture has been updated.
Fixes
- So, I went through all of the trouble of adding a search bar to Pose Mode, and then I only tested it within the Unity Editor and never realized that it wasn’t possible to click the search bar outside of the Unity Editor. This oversight has been corrected, and now you can finally use the search bar feature in Pose Mode.
- If the player pushed over a bookcase in the library, the bookcase’s collider would expand. Afterwards, walking on the north side of the library would cause the player to teleport to the room underneath (the counselor’s office) and become trapped there permanently. This bug has been fixed.
- The tiny placard on top of Amai’s bake sale table was recognized as a pathfinding obstacle, which interfered with the pathfinding grid and prevented students from smoothly pathfinding to/away from the table. This oversight has been corrected.
- The table used for Amai’s bake sale was not the correct height, so the little placard on top and the tip jar were both floating in midair. This oversight has been corrected.
- In the cutscene where Info-chan informs Ayano about Kizana, Ayano and Info-chan’s voice lines were at inconsistent volumes. This oversight has been corrected.
- Some of the 3D models had weird shadows appearing on them because hard edges were not baked into the models. This oversight has been corrected.
- The power cord of the Cooking Club’s new toaster was clipping into the kitchen countertop. This oversight has been corrected.
Not A Bug
After updating some of the game’s models, the interior of the Photography Club changed significantly; the “portable walls” that display photographs changed from white to black, which completely changed the look-and-feel of the entire room. This was entirely unintentional, but…I actually really like the way it looks, so I intend to keep it this way from now on!
Bottom-Of-Blog-Post Fan Spotlight
Today’s fan spotlight goes to “KANAOTAKUU” for importing Genshin Impact character models into Yandere Simulator:
They’ve successfully imported a huge number of characters from Genshin Impact / Honkai: Star Rail / Wuthering Waves into Yandere Simulator, which I really love to see! Their hard work deserves to be acknowledged and recognized, so go check out their channel!
