Last year, multiple Yandere Simulator YouTubers suddenly had their accounts terminated. Why? The official reason given by YouTube was just three words long: “Violent Criminal Organizations.” No further details were provided. If the YouTuber submitted an appeal, explained that the termination was in error, and asked for their channel to be reinstated, the appeal was automatically rejected.
Several people reached out to me and asked me to “do something.” However, I felt as though there was nothing I could possibly do. All of my previous attempts to right wrongs on YouTube ended in failure. In the past, whenever I reported a problem to YouTube, they ignored me or just gave me an automated response that didn’t actually address the issue. I figured that there was no point whatsoever in even attempting to talk to anyone at YouTube; I’d just be met with silence, or an automated reply. My faith in YouTube was at zero.
Two days ago, one of my favorite Yandere Simulator YouTubers had his channel terminated. This guy had been making extremely high-effort, high-quality content for years. Seeing any YouTuber’s channel get wrongfully terminated infuriates me, but seeing this guy lose his channel was an especially painful punch to the gut. I decided that, even if there was only a 1% chance of being heard, I had to at least try to talk to someone at YouTube about this.
YouTube never assigned a “Partner Manager” to me – but, back in 2018, I did actually speak with a Partner Manager working at YouTube to report a problem. The last time we spoke was in 2022, but I decided to reach out to him, describe the “Violent Criminal Organizations” problem, and ask for help.
I knew that this was a long shot. Maybe he didn’t even work for YouTube anymore. Maybe he would tell me that I’m not allowed to report an issue on behalf of another channel. Maybe he would simply decide to ignore my e-mail.
However, I got lucky: he responded, he asked for some details, and he said that he’d ask the Policy Team to investigate.
48 hours later, the YouTuber’s terminated channel was reinstated.
Whoa!! Holy heck!! GOOD news for once!! Lately, it has felt like every event that happens in my life is just bad news after bad news after bad news – but, finally, we got a win!!!
And here’s the best part: the Partner Manager has offered to build a case for other wrongfully terminated channels, as well! In order to do that, I’m going to need the account name / URL for Yandere Simulator channels that have been wrongfully terminated for “Violent Criminal Organizations.”
Give me your tired, your poor, your huddled masses yearning to breathe free, the wretched refuse of your teeming shore! Send these, the homeless, tempest-tossed to me! I lift my lamp beside the golden door!
…what I’m trying to say is – if you or someone you know has had their Yandere Sim YouTube channel wrongfully terminated, please e-mail me and give me their channel name + channel URL. We might finally be able to right some of these wrongs!
Normally, I prefer to be contacted at [email protected] – but, for this particular matter, please contact me at [email protected] (or, if you’re in my Discord server, just send me a DM).
P.S. – To make your claim credible, please include a screenshot of the “Your channel has been terminated” e-mail that you got from YouTube.
