Low FPS? Try this.

Some users are reporting that the framerate in the May 15th build is lower than the framerate in the May 1st build. One of the changes I made in the May 15th build was to switch from Direct3D 11 to Direct3D 12.

To determine if the switch from D3D11 to D3D12 is the cause of the lower framerate, I’m releasing a new build; the *only* difference between this build and the previous build is that this build is back to D3D11:

If you’re getting a low framerate in the latest build, download the one above, try it out, and see if you achieve a better framerate.

(Obviously, try to test the two builds under the same circumstances. Same graphical settings, etc. You can’t compare the two fairly if you run one at maximum graphics and run the other at minimum graphics.)
