There were some obvious bugs in the previous build that most players were encountering, so I’ve decided to release a new build with those bugs fixed.
By the way, I’ve received a tremendous amount of negative feedback on student placement throughout Amai’s week, and it has become obvious that I need to completely restructure the way that I spread students throughout the school when my objective is to make them “living security cameras” and reduce blind spots.
Instead of students standing apart from one another, doing their hobbies in random-ass places…
- More students in pairs, talking to one another
- More students in groups, doing a group activity together
Also,
- Instead of “one routine for everyone, all week long” it’s going to be “every day, student placement changes depending on the rival’s routine that day.”
- As the rival moves throughout the school, students will stop doing their routines in places that are completely irrelevant to the rival’s current location, and will move to a location more relevant to the rival’s current location.
I’m just going to warn you in advance that this is going to be time-consuming and delay my return to YouTube, but it’s important to set a proper precedent for all future weeks, so I’m going to do it anyway.
If you’d like to read a changelog of everything that was changed / fixed in the latest build, scroll down past this video of some lovely gentlemen wishing a happy birthday to Ayano Aishi:
Is today her birthday? No, her birthday was 6 months ago. Doesn’t matter. Great video!
Oh, look, they did Ryoba, too!
Spelled her name wrong, but it still counts! These guys are great!
Changes
- Sabotaging Amai’s bake sale now does 10 damage to her reputation (tallied at the end of the day, when students go home). You can sabotage her bake sale to damage her reputation up to 4 times a week. (Thursday is your last opportunity to eliminate a rival via reputational damage.)
- On Week 2, when Osana and Raibaru sat next to each other and ate lunch, there was a strange amount of space between them, as though they were deliberately distancing themselves. This was weird, so they now sit a bit closer, like best friends would.
- A player requested the ability to use the “Reset Week” feature even if it’s Saturday. I’ve added this feature to the game. If it creates new bugs, this change will be reverted.
- Adjusted the place where Umeji stands in mornings on Week 2.
Fixes
- I moved the location where you can place a covert listening device in the Sewing Room, and when I did so, I broke the button prompt for it. It is now possible to use that button prompt again. (The position is not in the same part of the Sewing Room it was in previously, though.)
- If the player entered SNAP Mode while playing at a resolution higher than 1280×720, the game’s depth of field would not focus correctly, and the screen would become blurry. This bug has been fixed.
- If the player completes Hazu’s Task, he sews a spare school uniform for the player. However, a bug was causing that school uniform to spawn in the wrong location. This bug has been fixed.
- If the player advanced time to 5:55 PM using the school library, Osana and Taro’s end-of-day outside-of-school interactions would break. This bug has been fixed.
- At lunchtime, three of the bullies would eat their food while floating in midair. This bug has been fixed.
- Efude and Gaku were standing in the same spot on Monday Morning. This bug has been fixed.

I was going to share some fan art, but I just saw this video one second ago, so I’m going to completely change my plans and share this, instead:
